Hi! I’m Tristan. I believe massage should be an integral part of any health and wellness plan. I view massage as a functional tool and I think a good, effective massage should be uncomfortable, but not painful. The goals I like to strive for with any client are pain reduction/management, return of function, and overall improvement of well-being. I specialize in deep tissue and therapeutic massage, and I recognize that the positive healing touch can be monumental to improve body awareness and reduce stress.
I have had a roundabout time finding my way to massage therapy. I have a degree in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology from Thompson Rivers University. I had worked in the mining industry for over 15 years, most recently as a geochemist. I graduated from the Mount Royal University Massage Therapy Program.
Outside of the clinic, I love to spend time with my dog, my partner, and my friends. I like to play community sports, hike, swim, go to the gym, and read.

What you will get from the assessment: Key information on interpreting your functional movement scores and tips on integrating longevity exercises into your daily routine. You will also learn movement techniques to help you improve your posture and manage and mitigate muscle aches and pains due to poor posture. Muscle strength and stability are crucial for balance and help you live independently when you are older. Key muscle groups are missed even with the gym circuit and home exercise programs. We will start to put some pieces together to build your longevity plan. You will receive a customized plan to integrate into your daily workout routine to secure your healthy, independent aging.
